American Idol App
You heard that right. Fox has released an American Idol app for both iPhone / iPad and Android in time for Season 12. This app is meant to be the companion for the Live show. I have not had the opportunity to try this myself yet, but so far the reviews are mostly positive.
Per iTunes –
“Download the companion experience to vote for your favorite contestants after Live shows, join the real-time social conversation, watch on-demand video and get all your Idol news right on your iPhone and iPad. You can also check out this yearโs contestants, view fresh photos, access judge and host bios and much more!”
You can sign in using your favorite social app.

Android
If you are a fan of American Idol, give this app a try and let me know how it goes. Yes. It’s free! If you have an iPhone or iPad, get yours here. Those with Android get yours here.

I'm not a big fan but it's pretty cool nonetheless. ๐
I like to watch it when it gets near the end of the season. ๐
I like the idea of the App, but haven't watched American Idol in years. Anymore, it seems more entertaining to watch the judges share verbal barbs with each other than it is to watch the singers come along ๐
I agree. I watch it when they are close to picking the winner.
I never did understand the American Idol craze – despite the fact that I was on it's pioneer show: Star Search with Ed McMahon! Sorry, but I'll pass on this one. Let me know if they come out with something for "The Walking Dead"…and I don't mean modern day Golden Girls. Ha, ha!
