It's certainly an impressive infographic, and despite how I can at times feel overwhelmed by all of our online options for connection, it also makes me aware at how proficient I really am 🙂
It makes me wonder where we might be just 5 years from now. I am busy trying on that new social site Triberr. Seems to be popular…
It's crazy to think how fast it's changing… but even scarier to think it's only getting faster! The best part is the power increasingly goes to the consumer… if companies aren't serving their customers, they're in trouble.
I could not agree more. It's about time the power was placed back where it belongs, with the consumer.
Yes, Cheryl, what will we do online 5 years from now:-)
Have been a member of Triberr for a long time. But there were complications with it so most of us connected on decided to move our cooperation to Twitterfeed instead. Just checked Triberr because you mentioned it and it said I hadn't published anything for 30 days. So it seems it's still a problematic website:-)
Triberr does appear to be a bit funky at times. I thought maybe it was because I was not using it properly. Maybe it is just plain buggie.
When you think how fast this is all moving, I can't even imagine what it will all look like in a few year from now. What I hope is there is a way to connect it all to make it easier to be Social on SM. That may be a pipe dream, but one can always hope. 🙂
I could not agree more. Make it all work together and make it easy.
Oh yeah, I remember "My Space". It's about the only network I hadn't joined. As for Pinterest, did you know you can't "block" anybody? Still, this infographic is pretty cool.
You know, I never did the MySpace thing either. Pinterest – I use that for recipes mostly. 🙂
