I have never heard of this quote or the man who said it–who is he? This is a great quote and I'm thinking about doing a video on this one. Too often, we are concerned to much by what we "get" from our toils, and missing out on the big "thing" or "character" that we become by our toil.
Well now you have heard of someone new! 🙂 And I agree with you that sometimes we miss the character building aspects of our toils.
I completely agree. My favorite quote is along the same lines by Rose Kennedy " It's not what happens to you in life that's important , but how you deal with it.'
