Herb Drying Tips Via Susun Weed

Herb Drying Tips Via Susun Weed

Susun Weed is another herbalist I have learned a lot from. These videos take a minute or two to get to the good stuff, but the good stuff is worth waiting for.

I thought sharing some videos in my herb posts might be helpful in bringing a deeper understanding to them. Since there are a multitude of posts like these already on YouTube I decided not to ‘reinvent the wheel’.

Enjoy!

My art teacher friend would love these videos… too bad her seven grandkids and four kids keep her from starting a blog πŸ™

Blogging is a job in itself. I can understand why she has no time for it.

  2. This is very timely for me. I have anew dehydrator and it think will be of great use when I'm ready to start using it. πŸ™‚

Maybe… a dehydrator would certainly replace some time and speed things up a bit.

  3. I like the idea of not reinventing the wheel. Use the lessons others provide.

Watching stuff like this just makes me think I should learn more about foraging.

the main thing is never to do something you are not sure of…. that can have some very negative results πŸ™‚

  4. Drying herbs is one of those things I have never got round to doing. Have dried flowers, though.

It's a great idea, but I doubt I will ever find the time to start drying my own herbs. Maybe later in life?:-)

  5. Thx for posting the videos, Cheryl. I will bookmark for future reference, as I am good at growing herbs, but I never dry them and just waste the plants when they die in the fall/early winter. I sure miss my fresh herbs in the middle of winter!
