Imagination is crucial. Without imagination, there would be no invention. However, knowledge plays a role in putting together the vision. It has its role to play. The two attributes go hand in hand, but to me, imagination is more powerful.
You know… I had not thought of that. You are right. Without imagination there is no invention. Having the knowledge to act on that imagination is also important. Well stated. Thank you! 🙂
A great quote to start my busy week. I agree with Lubna. I would also add, without imagination the world would be a very dull place.
Also another really great point! 🙂
I would have to agree as well. You can have all the knowledge in the world but the successful people are the ones with the vision to make things happen….
Love this quote and I have to agree that being able to see the big picture and visualize change makes all the difference. Thanks for sharing!
Imagination without a doubt in my mind but that maybe because I am not very knowledgable………..lol
The quote explains it all. Knowledge is very limited, and often what we know now as fact actually started out as a piece of imagination of someone before. Our imagination allows us to dream and think out of the box, and break new grounds.
This reminds me of when people knew as fact that the earth was flat. Then they knew as fact that the earth is round. Both proving the point that knowledge is limited. Imagination is only limited by what you can dream. I agree with you. 🙂
By far, imagination. I think it's kind of sad that we lose our talent for it the older we get and replace it with…knowledge.
You are a woman after my own heart. This here is one of my top 5 favorite quotes. I love Albert for saying this. 🙂 I guess I have always valued imagination over knowledge, maybe only because that's my stronger suit.
Always loved this quote. It seems to ring more because it came from a man who couldn't tie his own shoelaces LOL Can you imagine how dull the world would be without imagination?
