Randomized circuit training workouts…

I found this app via Lifehacker. It is intended for those of us who are just too busy to exercise. It requires no special equipment, just you. You set the amount of time you want to invest at the moment, like 5 minutes You choose what type of workout you want – upper body, lower body, full body, etc. The app then produces a randomized set of exercises and times them for you. It even pauses at appropriate times between exercises to allow you to rest for a moment or two. You can skip anything you do not want to do. Using this app means you do not have to come up with your own routines and they are randomized each time you do them.

For me: No more excuses… just do it!

You can use it on the web itself at Sworkit.com. You can also download the app from the App Store for your iPhone or iPad, or download from the Play Store for your Android – the links are right there on the web site.

Have you tried this app yet? What do you think of it?

Awesome. I will use this. I walk most everyday but when it comes to the other stuff, I am challenged. This will help me with filling in the gaps. :))

Well excellent! Maybe it will compliment all the other apps and gadgets you use. πŸ™‚

I was curious, so I counted the number of apps I have. I was amazed. it was 137 and that doesn't count to ones I have deleted. I don't use them all, but I do use a good many of them fairly regularly.

I knew it! You and I have more in common than just being blogger friends. πŸ™‚

Oh. My. Gosh. I would love this app for my short breaks at work. I also know people who are trying to break into exercising, and I think this would be a great app for people like that too. I'm getting it. Hope it's on Droid . . .

Well excellent! Yes. It's on Droid. πŸ™‚

A very useful app for those with a limited amount of time to exercise. I personally don't have this problem. Twice per week for up to 40 minutes at a time, I run on a treadmill. I usually puff out 5KM (@3 miles) in that period of time.

    • Geek Girl says:

Well you certainly would put me to shame. Maybe some day I can boast that as well, but at the moment….. πŸ™

I…Love..this. For a long time I have had such an all or nothing mentality when it came to exercise which in the end leads to me skipping workouts. Downloading this so that I can work on not using " I don't have the time to run 3 miles" as an excuse.

    • Geek Girl says:

I am so with you on that. I had every excuse in the book. Now I have no excuse. LOL Thanks for stopping by. πŸ™‚
