  1. findingourwaynow says:

Boy, isn't that the truth. We are forged from our hardships, aren't we?

    • Geek Girl says:

Yes we are. No shortcuts there….

  2. Yes, and all human beings fall, without exception. It's just a question of how, where and when.

  3. Susan Oakes says:

So true and in many ways it is your state of mind that can make the difference. Hope you are not in the path of the Hurricane Cheryl.

    • Geek Girl says:

State of mind makes all the difference when you have to start again. I am not in the path of the storm. Thanks for your concern. 🙂

  4. Patrick Huff says:

That is something I need to remember

    • Geek Girl says:

I am right there with you. 🙂

  5. Geek Girl says:

We fail and then we brush ourselves off and start again.

  6. Definitely a great quote. I like the one by Henry Ford about how many times he had to fail in order to succeed. There are very few high achievers who haven't failed a few times on their way to success. Thanks for the motivation.

    • Geek Girl says:

So glad you brought that up! I need that reminder sometimes. Even some of the successes failed the first time they tried.

  7. namirusso says:

Wonder which candidate is going to be saying this to himself next Wednesday…

    • Geek Girl says:

I had not thought of that. Time will tell…

  8. JeriWB says:

Yet it seems a bit harder to dust myself off and try and try again the older I get… good thing my stubborn nature sees me through 😉

    • Geek Girl says:

Maybe we should look at it from the perspective that these things keep us younger. OK Maybe not… In that case being stubborn is a good thing. 🙂
