Is Your Phone Celebrating July 4 With You? If so, make sure it dresses for the occasion.

Yes. We are talking wallpaper here. Your phone can join in the fun with free patriotic wallpaper. There are a number of free apps to choose from. Whether you have an iPhone or you have an Android you will have no trouble finding something you like.

I do stand by my stance on Live wallpaper. They will eat your battery like it’s candy. Stick with the static wallpapers.

The Play Store has a lovely free Android app called ‘Independence Day Wallpapers’. Just choose the one you want and voila! Your phone is ready to celebrate.

If you have an iPhone iOS 4 or later, you can get a free app called American Wallpapers & Backgrounds. You save the one you want to your camera roll. Then you can choose to make it your wallpaper just like any other photo.

Hm, wallpapers for 4th of July. Can't imagine! I have my daughter's painting on my phone.

I was thinking of taking some photos of blueberries, raspberries and something white for 4th of July. I saw a great pic online of a flag made with fruit. But I think the white was marshmallow fluff? I wanted something more natural.

    Happy 4th of July, Cheryl.

Happy 4th to you as well! Enjoy!

  2. That's fun. I've done these wallpapers on my phone but for Halloween and they're really fun. I hadn't thought of the 4th but why not. 🙂

I love the fact that it is so easy to personalize your phone. I often customize my phone for the holidays with wallpapers and ringtones. My youngest son's favorite is Halloween so I always have some weird scary ringtone.

I didn't even think about dressing my phone up for the 4th. I was so busy worried about my outfit that I forgot I could add in other fun accessories to help me celebrate. I will definitely keep holiday wallpapers in mind in the future.
